With well over a decade’s experience in the finance industry, both with major banks and as a mortgage broker, I have developed a reputation with both clients and lenders as a provider of quality service. Over the course of my career, I have assisted clients to secure in excess of $250 million, and was recently named one of Mortgage Professional Australia’s Top Ten Mortgage Brokers. I’ve also previously been nominated in the Broker f the Year category in the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia’s Excellence Awards. First Home Buyers
Buying your first home is a big step, one of the biggest milestone’s in life, and it’s important to have an experienced mortgage broker assist you through the process. A good mortgage broker will ensure you find the right home loan and take advantage of all the benefits available to you, including the First Home Owners’ Grant and any State Government grants and concessions you are eligible for.
I have worked with many first home buyers and, as such, have a very good understanding of your needs. To ensure the smoothest possible purchase, I will work with you to identify the costs involved in buying your first property, establish how much you can borrow and, of course, identify which loan package best suits your situation.
I will also ensure that your First Home Owners’ Grant application is processed on time and made available for you at settlement. Just as importantly, I work very closely with your solicitor and real estate agent to ensure the whole process flows smoothly right up to settlement and beyond.
Discounted Interest Rates on Larger Loans
I have extensive experience with larger loan sizes, so if you are borrowing more than $500,000, then you need to speak with me. I have a good track record of securing a greater discount for you than what you might otherwise achieve yourself. Even a small additional reduction in your interest rate could potentially save you thousands of dollars in interest charges.
Investment and Development Finance
Property investment finance can be quite complex, particularly when you have multiple properties in your portfolio. There are different options available depending on whether you‘re a first time investor, have a broad property portfolio, or wish to use complex financial structures such as trusts. There are also options available if you are an owner-builder or need to finance property development sites.
Self-employed Borrowers and Professionals
If you are self-employed, or a professional in the legal, banking, IT or medical industries – whether self-employed or PAYG – I know where to place your loan application and how to effectively package it for maximum benefit. I can also arrange your home loan consultation to suit your busy lifestyle, so you get the information you need at a time convenient to you.
Commercial Purchases
If you are considering purchasing commercial property, from small 2-3 unit sites up to $20m property development sites, there are a range of finance packages available that may suit you. To ensure your commercial finance application runs smoothly, I have developed a broad network of contacts, which allows me to place your loan with the correct lender for your needs and have it processed in a timely fashion. My network of contacts means I am also in an excellent position to help you overcome the many different problems and situations that might arise during a commercial property purchase.
Home Loan Pre-approvals
Home loan pre-approval is something you should always get if you can, no matter what your loan size. It will put you in the strongest position to bid at auction or negotiate with a vendor. Home loan pre-approval is offered by most banks and lenders and is usually valid for around three months, and I can easily assist you to get it. If you can, make sure you apply for a written home loan pre-approval with the lender you intend to borrow through, as this will give you the most secure indication of how much you can borrow. Just remember, all home loan pre-approvals will come with some conditions that still need to be met, the most important one being that the property you choose meets the lender’s criteria.
